“Freedom of choice becomes a habit of mind.”

-Dr. Maria Montessori

Our Story

Brooke of Life Montessori Academy serves families with children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years of age in Lancaster, TX and surrounding areas. The families of the Lancaster community appreciate our commitment to ensuring that their children are safe and learning the skills needed to prepare for grade school and beyond. Montessori education is scarce in the areas south of Dallas and this will afford children and families a different opportunity that will help to broaden their knowledge of the resources that are made available to them. Montessori education allows young children to develop at their own pace and increases intrinsic motivation and coping skills to learning inside the classroom and the world outside of the four walls of their learning environments.

Drawing Together

The Montessori Method

The Montessori Prepared Environment is a carefully designed space where children thrive. It offers structure and simplicity, allowing them to learn at their own pace. By incorporating nature and beauty, the environment sparks curiosity and invites exploration. Caring for living plants and animals teaches children about their role in the world and fosters a sense of responsibility. In a true Montessori classroom, children seamlessly navigate from one task to another, guided by their own purpose.
